How to retrieve the Symbian OS version

Hi every body,

Can some one tell how can we retrieve the symbian os version that is installed on a symbian phone.

I have a Nokia 7650.

for all 7650 the OS is 6.1, and the SW version you can find by pressing *#0000#

i want to know if there is a function to retrieve the os version programatically ( C++)

at least you could see the device you are running at with this:

Check the SDK docs & header files, maybe there is a way to see the OS version as well.
