Video Streaming from a Wap Page , Nokia 7650

I'm trying via a link in a WML page like :
http://125.216.220.234/pvx/servlet/cp.pvx?clip=public/test.mp4

to download a command file recognized by our Mpeg4 Video PLayer that will start the video streaming.

I'm using a 7650 handset.

Is it possible for the 7650 Wap Browser to launch this appli ?
(how to add a mime type ?)

Hello!

Nokia 7650 does not support video streaming (Mpeg 4) in the WAP browser. However, just a couple of days ago Hantro Products announced a software that enables video recording in the Nokia 7650.

If you are interested of Video streaming on Nokia 7650 i can tell you that Wind Tlc in Italy launched the first Video streaming service. It is based on the Emblaze Player and it works on the Nokia 7650 where you can install the player in a .sis file.

HttpConnection works fine(is fully functional) on the Nokia 7650. Try downloading "Coolaz Comics Nokia 7650 v.1.0.4" from http://www.midletcentral.com under the applications category. Futhermore all applications by this vendor targeted for the 7650 work with HttpConnections both with the old and new firmware.
