How can I do if emulator version successed but target version failed?

I can debug an emulator version with VC, but how can I debug a target version? It simply doesn't work and exits with a flash (it's a console application). I can't get any information.
Then why there are difference between emulator version and target version? Are there any tips? Thank you!

there are plenty of differences, you could propably check the documents section here and maybe read the Nokia's latest Series 60 book for good explanations.
