Does anyone know how the Java virtual environment differs on Symbian OS 7.0s and OS7.0s enhanced? The devices that use these OS's are the 6600 and 7610 respectively. I know there is a difference in the upcoming Nokia 6630 using Symbian OS 8.0.

For that u can check out on Symbian Site ..
But if u ask specifically for the devices u have mentioned ..

The difference is from Nokia's Side

    Nokia 6600 -Series 60 Developer Platform 2.0
    Java Technology:
    CLDC 1.0
    MIDP 2.0
    Nokia UI API
    Wireless Messaging API (JSR-120)
    Mobile Media API (JSR-135) v1.0
    Bluetooth API (JSR-82 No OBEX)

    Nokia 7610- Series 60 Developer Platform 2.0 + Feature Pack 1
    Java Technology:
    CLDC 1.0
    MIDP 2.0
    Nokia UI API
    Wireless Messaging API (JSR-120)
    Mobile Media API (JSR-135) v.1.1
    Bluetooth API (JSR-82 No OBEX)

So the only difference is that of feature pack 1. So there is a newer version of the MMAPI, in addition to some minor enhancements (in MMAPI), such as recording for video and image snapshot quality improvements.
