Large AMR Files skip on 6260

Hello all,
I have a midlet that uses the MMAPI to play an AMR file. The file is about 1.5 minutes long. On the 6600 it plays without issue, but on the 6260 it seems to be experiencing a buffer under-run. It plays for about 6 seconds, then it stops for about 1/4 of a second, then it continues from where it left off. It does this every 6 seconds throughout the audio playback.

Has anyone seen this behavior before? And if so, is there any way to fix it? Perhaps a system setting to allow it to buffer more?

I am not sure, but we faced the same problems when playing a amr on 7610. There were these intermittent pauses.
Also we were facing this for amr recorded in studio and not for .amr recorded using device recorder utility.
Perhaps is something related to the amr recording. Just a guess. Might help.
Anyway we shifted to .wav, after this problem.
If you find any solution let us know.
