7610 fax

I need to use my 7610 for sending faxes from my lap top!!!!

If i can use the phone as a modem for internet connection then why not for fax connection!?

After all it only needs to dial a number and allow connection to another devise much the same as internet connection.!!

Yes, except that it'd specifically have to have fax modem support to act as a fax modem (and as far as I know, it doesn't).
