7610 via bluetooth to GPS

I have a progrom written in java to receive and to send datat to and from an external GPS unit via bluetooch. I had developed it on the Sony Ericcson P900. Tried to use the same code on 7610 but got error message:

jes-4b1-java-comms@14506a... program crashed.

whenever I tried to connect to the GPS unit.

Any comment or suggestion?
