Getting the audio control.

Hi All.

How can I get control of the audio-output when another application is using it (such as the ringtone player, etc ...) ?

Can I send any message to any task for stopping RingTones ?

My application should perform a multimedia task when there is an incoming call however the kernal does not let me to take control of the audio even when the handset is in silent mode (Nokia 3650), any ideas ?

you could try to play around with the priority value that can be set when constructing the player object.

Is it possible to set our own object with a higher priority value than the main phone application?

I am also trying to take control of the audio output when an incoming call is received, in order to replace the ringtone with something of my own.
