Sending ringtone using nokia handphones

Hi,

Currently I had successfully sent ringing tone to nokia handphone OTA by using a GSM MODEM. I tested it using hyperterminal and the AT commands I used:
at+cmgf=0
at+cmfg=63
>0051000A91562143658700F5A73206050415811581024A3A6195E595CDBDB9B5940400351ED493424C212690938C513624E012698938C498224AB12618934500<ctrl-z>

OK

However, I can't send the ringing tone to nokia handphones OTA by using a datacable connecting to a nokia 8250. The hyperterminal cannot seems to communicate with the 8250. But I have seen it working when using the software logo manager.

So May I know how can I let hyperterminal communicate with the nokia 8250 and can AT commands used in GSM MODEMs be used in NOKIA handphones for sending smart message purpose?

Hello!

Try to use IR to connect the phone to PC. There's no support for cable connection at 8250.

YOu can use Nokia Data suite with data cable.
i have a small doubt in sending ringtone.
can you send the code,how u have done.at+cmgs is not required?

in this one which one is the data headers and which one is the actual ringtone data.can you tell what is the dataheaders for sending ringtone as text mode.if i sending the ringtone is more than one sms then that time how will do.
