Hi,
Would appreciate if any one can clarify SDK 2.1 and SDK 2nd edition supporting feature pack 2.
Is one a superset of another? Which one is newer?
Does the new APIs introduced in one SKD, as described in its release notes, stay in the other?
Thanks.

the feature pack 2 is never. Basically 2.1 is feature pack 1.
The code compiled with FP2 SDK will only work with phones supporting it. And FP 1 SDK software will work in phones supporting either FP 1 or FP 2.

It looks like that SDK 2.1 will compile code compatible with 2.0 phones, ie without feature pack.
Naturally this means that you should not use any API that say 2.1 or FP1, if you wish to be compatible4 with 2.0 phones.

Thanks for the info
