i want to know whether ,
Ringtones which we are sending in nokia format thru smsc is compatible for all mobile set (as siemens,alcatel) or for nokia set only .I means is it will run on all mobile sets which supports ringtones .

I have this question as i saw in many sites that they are providing different ringtones for different sets.
Please remove this confusion .

Currently, only nokia sets supports Nokia Ringing tones format, all other phone if supports, supports proprietary ringing tone. Though Nokia has made the format as open license, no other phone other than Nokia supports it.

Samsung mobile phones support Nokia's ringtone binary format however they might not support it when the user sends it using regular sms gateway using the //SCKL format (never tried that).

How ur sending ringtones using mobile phones,i mean using AT Commands.if u use nokia pc connectivity sdk ,i think no need of AT Commands,but how they will send,i am not getting,can you clear.how to do.
i wanted to how to send Ringtones using Nokia PC Connectivity SDK.
i will wait for your reply.
