I'm trying to install Card Phone 2 on my laptop with finnish Win 98 SE. The setup runs smooth, but when I restart the computer and plug the card in, the software says it's reading and then the computer freezes. I've tried to change the com port, but it doesn't help. Any ideas?

    Hi,

Check that no other program is using the PCMCIA-slot where the Nokia Card Phone 2.0 is inserted. Also check that no other hardware is aasigned to that port and that there is a free IRQ for the Nokia Card Phone 2.0.

    Best regards,

I used to get a similar problem under NT4.0 when installing Gold Card modems on IBM Thinkpads - it was a resource conflict issue with the TP's internal modem. I suggest you check carefully that nothing else is trying to grab the IRQ or I/O port your CardPhone is trying to use.
