AVI to 3GP conversion problem????

I can convert avi to 3gp and it works fine when watched on my computer but when i upload it to my 6230 phone it only works if certain avi files are converted to certain video bit rates. I want to be able to use 64kb/s but this only works on certain avi files. Is this a known issue or is there codecs i can get to solve this problem?

As far as I know, you should be able to convert it to a working 3gp file from an avi as long as you can see the video from the converter on your computer.
