After a couple of days of experimentation I have not yet been able to get an XML parser up and running.

I have installed pyexpat and I am also able to use parts of xml.dom.minidom . But when i try and call xml.dom.minidom.parse() all hell breaks loose.

Any ideas?

Just curious, are you using the HIIT pyexpat port for Series 60 <http://pdis.hiit.fi/pdis/download/pyexpat/> or something else?

Yes I am using the HIIT pyexpat port for Series 60. I will check out aallan's blog entry and see if I get any further. Thanks.

As a suggestion for future additions to Python for Series 60... xml as standard would be wonderful please :-)
