Dialback on Nokia 6210

Hi,

I make use of a Nokia 6210 to make a RAS connection from my Dell laptop to a WAN via infrared... For security a dialback is set up (making use of fast data access line). The PC makes the remote connection initially, but when the remote system dials back, the phone rings, but is not automatically answered to re-establish the connection. How do I go about to get the PC/phone to answer the connection as a normal modem would...

This depends on your network and your subsciption with the operator.

What number have you set the servers to callback? Your GSM phone number? In that case it is wrong. You should have some kind of GSM DATA number to set as callback number. If you do try it out and the phone will probably ring two.three times before it answeres and connects..
