how to retrieve information from logdbu.dat file

Hi all

i m working on retreving information about the calls information on mobile device such as calls made,missed,call drops, call time etc. after some R&D i got that this info is stored in logdbu.dat file. what i have in mind is to use a log engine. i want to know m i going in right direction or some better method is there.

I have same problem. I want to add some details , along with phone number. Through my R&D , i also found that we have to modify log file , but how ? do we have any other option.?
