connect function is giving problem

dear friends,

I am working with MS VC++ 6.0 and Nokia_9200_Communicator_Series_SDK_1.2

I am trying to run the program which should connect to server by calling connect( ) function.

but it is not able to connect to server,
it is giving error no -3006,and
connect function is returning -1 after executing connect ( ) call

can i know what is the problem and how to overcome this problem,

i am passing correct parameters to connect function,

please anybody help me.

it says that 3006 means that you have't defined internet access point.

thanks for ur help.

now i am having one more problem,

in my nokia 9200 emulator in order to execute the program which i mentioned in my last mail, i need to create a internet accecc point,

in emulator there is option to create a internet accecc point,but its asking for phone number , password etc etc,

is there any other option to create internet access point without giving phone number.

sorry but the only time I needed to make a internet connection app with old communicator, I decided to just debug it in the phone. That is also nearly four years ago, so sorry, but can not be real help on this issue.

Anyway, have you checked what happens if you run it in the real phone ?
