syntax of the mmp file

The mmp file allows one to define the source and libraries used in the project. Is it possible to use it to associate a package (aka mmp) file with the project? Is there a document (or publicly available source code) which defines the grammar.

The mmp file in symbian is basically the makefile. Have a look in the SDK help for "MMP file syntax" for a detailed description of the mmp file.
