Problems on Sound Mixer with midi

I found that the sample of Sound mixer used a 72K wav for background music.

Is it possible to playing midi in background instead of big wave under sound mix? i had tried the CMdaAudioRecorderUtility but seems can't works properly.

Anybody can give me some ideas on it?

oh, I'm also facing the same problem. Can we play midi & wav at the same time without the need to convert midi to wav?

Is it right to focus on streaming to achieve the topic?
or MdaAudioSamplePlayer is already enough?
