Nokia 6620 in Europe?

Hello everyone,

I recently bought 6620 and I love this phone. However, I am soon to be going to Europe for a longer period of time and was wondering if this phone would work there?

It will work only in regions where some operator offers 1800MHz GSM coverage. It means most larger cities. Outside cities 900MHz is used, which this phone doesn't support.

Whether it matters or not depends on what the coverage is where you're going, and how much you're thinking of travelling with that phone (and using it while travelling).

For actual coverage, ask the operators in the country/city you are going to.

My advise: Leave the phone behind and buy a new 6630 or 6680 instead (you will have all the features and functionality of the 6620 + then some).
