    Hi,

    I'm novice to Symbian.

I want to create new project of type "Series 60 Appwizard" using Visual Studio 6.0 IDE. I'm using SDK 2.0

Referring to "Symbian OS 6.1 Development using VC++ 6.0 Tutorial" at "http://www.hipergames.com/symbianch2.html",
I do not see the project type "Series 60 Appwizard" under "Projects" tab in File->New dialog.

Can anyone help me out how to add the project type for Series 60 in New dialog of VC++ IDE?

    Thanks

    Hi,

    you must copy file from
    ...\Series60\Series60Tools\applicationwizard\avkonappwiz.awx
    into MSVC subdirectory named
    ...Microsoft Visual Studio\COMMON\MSDev98\Template\

    Bye

    Thanks Stenlik for your time.

One more problem I'm facing when I try to create new project "MyAPP" in visual studio IDE using Series 60 AppWizard :

After I press "OK" from the last dialog of the wizard, which is "New Project Information", I get a message mentioned below:

    " C:\Symbian\7.0s\Series60_v20\Epoc32\BUILD\SYMBIAN\7.0S\SERIES60_V20\EXAMPLES\MYAPP\GROUP\MYAPP\WINS\MYAPP.dsw

The specified project could not be inserted into the current workspace."

Then I've to manually create .dsp and .dsw on command prompt.

Can any visitor help me to resolve this.

    Thanx
