I just started learning Series 60 programming.

    Installed JRE 1.5 & JRE 1.3.1
    Installed ActivePerl 5.8
    Installed CodeWarrior for Symbian
Installed Series 60 SDK for CW

    To try the sample "Helloworld":

and then when I type "bldmake bldfiles", it's ok and a file named "Abld.bat" was created in the same directory.

But when I typed "abld build wins udeb", as trying to compile and link the project, there were like huge errors:

".....failed to find version informaiton for LINK.exe............etc"

    What's happening?

There are a lot of discussion about this issue in this forum. Try to search it.
Basically it is because your PATH is not set to Visual Studio.
You can set it by running vcvars32.bat or set it manually in the Control Panel.

Thanks. Now that the problem's gone, it appears I've installed the old SDK which should be the newer FP2. And I just typed the command wrong, should be ".....winscw.....".
