visual c++ express edition

Hello dear symbian developers;
I have downloaded series 60 SDK. it says use "visual studio .NET" and i don't have it. Instead of it, can i use visual c++ 2005 express edition from microsoft which is free.

I have already downloaded the VC++ 2005 express edition beta 2 but it seems that it isn't compatible with SDK S60. When I use the "Series 60 application wizard" in the field "IDE options" I can not see any available IDE.
Have you experienced any problems during the installation ? Could you please help me to make it play ?
