Mobile Application

Hi all,
I developed one j2me ( jar file) application. This application run on Sun wireless toolkit. But not run real device of nokia mobile phone. i download to jar file through Nokia pc suite from PC to Mobile Phone. Application was installed, but not run..

pls help me!

Can you please provide more details?

What did error message state? When does the error message appear? What device are you trying to test on? What version of CLDC and MIDP are you using?

I am using J2me wireless Toolkit 2.2 for Build and runing purpose

The jar file Manifest details like

MIDlet-1: Trail11, Trail11.png, Trail11
MIDlet-Name: Trail11
MIDlet-Vendor: Unknown
MIDlet-Version: 1.0
MicroEdition-Configuration: CLDC-1.1
MicroEdition-Profile: MIDP-2.0

This jar file run on J2me wireless toolkit 2.2 run on emulators properly.

Then, i transfer to jar file from PC to Nokia 3100 set , ( using Nokia PC Suite software). The jar file was installed on mobile phone . But not Run the application.

pls help me

Nokia 3100 uses CLDC 1.0 and MIDP 1.0

Though I am rather surprised it actually allowed installation on the phone. Usually gives "invalid version" error during installation.

Anyhow, make sure you're not using any CLDC1.1 or MIDP 2.0 classes/functionalities and recompile using the correct configuration and profile.
