channels to sell games?

we are a group of 2 programmers & 1 artist, wishing to start developing our own games & sell them.
any suggestion on how can we reach game publishers who might be interested on us?
I mean without having to pay.

Use your favourite Internet search engine, or two, to locate game publishers, check out their web sites for contact info and call/email them.
