Series 60 Emulator RMS files

In Series 60 FP2 Emulator, I just can't find the RMS files that store all the data bytes.

I'm currently doing testing on my apps, and quite troublesome to always write code just to delete the RMS store each & everytime for testing.

Can anyone tell me where the heck is the RMS files in S60 FP2?

Hm, I don't think that it's a physical file that u can found in any foulder of your S60 emulator... I didn't find one so far....

I think it should be located under some anonymous folder under nokia emulator folders, as even after i shut down my pc, my apps still able to locate the record store. The thing is that now i'm in testing phase and need to test the functionalities of my persistent storage. Its quite difficult for me to keep writing the deleteStore on and off just to test my module. Its much easier if i can just delete the file that store the RMS data.

I also noticed, that NetBeans (no idea which IDE you're using) saved my recordstores for the Default Color Phone (WTK) in my home folder in the WTK subfolder "appdb"....

For SDK v3.0, prototype s60 emulator, the path should be

C:\Nokia\Devices\Nokia_Prototype_SDK_2_0\devices\Prototype_2_0_S60_MIDP_Emulator\bin\Storage\0\C\system\appdb

and the DB to delete should be

run_by_class_storage_your-record-name.db

i have tried multiple methods presented on this site and none seem to work. i can never find the files
here is my manual solution:

• start the emulator
• navigate to Menu / Installations
• find your application and select Options
• choose Uninstall

All RMS stores are removed with the MIDlet
