I am new to Symbian programming and also new to CodeWarrior. I downloaded some of the sample programs that were available in this website. I have currently installed CodeWarrior Development Studio for Symbian OS v2. The problem that i'm facing is that I can't seem to import the .mmp file. The SDK that I'm using is UIQ 70. The error that was shown to me was "The makmake tool failed to generate the project XML file. Project creation aborted." I would be really glad if there is someone out there that can help me with this problem.
thank you.

Thanks for the tip! I reinstalled Perl and it works but I have another problem...I can't seem to compile the sample codes given in the forum. I am wondering if those codes are error free because I tried compiling them, they have errors. I also tried other sample codes that claim to be error free also have errors during compilation. I am wondering is a problem with my CW? Hope you can help me out!
i tried the symbian audio samples from that link above. this was the error i got:

Could not find or load the file "AVKON.LIB" for target "SOUNDMIXER WINSCW UDEB" for project "SoundMixer.mcp".
1. CodeWarrior for Symbian 2.0 is quite old, and probably does not support any Series 60 SDK newer than v1.2.
2. Your license.dat file is either corrupt or missing; that is what those errors mean. Is this a purchased copy or an evaluation? If it's purchased you should have received a permanent license key when you registered it. If it's an evaluation, please uninstall it and download the current release of Personal Edition (v2.8) from the Forum Nokia website.
