6210 connection problem with windows XP

So far I have had no joy with either suite 4.06 or 4.81. It would appear to be major flaw with the 6210. I am using a USB port connection from my Toshiba and like the first posting, it fails to recongise the dial tone on my 6210. I still dont have an answer. Sorry

I use a DLR-3P connecting cable to connect to my PC. I tried both pc suite 4.06 and pc suite 4.81(in the nokia support page, it says that 6210 is supported by this software). It doesn't work , it can't find the phone connected to the com port while installing. The software version on my 6210 is 5.56.
Please help!
