For those of you who have not heard of bluepulse it's an open platform that allows developers to write xhtml based applications and then deliver them using gprs and 3g networks. It also has this really cool thing called NEBA's which allows you to write location based applications using wifi and gprs. They say it already works on over 250 different handsets, regardless of the carrier or data connection you use.
For those of us who are non-developers, the free version you can snag on their website, is shipped with an interoperable solution called buddies, which allows free messaging to icq, msn and yahoo customers..... very interesting stuff!!!
