how to send email ???

actually i want to know that how to send the email its just ftp or is there a SMTP .

there's an example in series 60 which you can use to have clear understanding how email works on symbian.

i have seen that example but that is only for recieving the mail means pop protocol.
i want to know how to send the mail..SMTP.
plz tell from where i get that exp...or hints...
