MMF controller plugin and Mpeg-4 codec??

Hi,
How can I code a MMF controller plugin for Mpeg-4?
The source code example for MMF controller is very lame and
hardly covers the complexity that would come into such a format conversion.
Can somebody ateast post a complex MMF controller example or some pointer to
an example.
Also to make a device use the plugin??

I too want a proper example to write a controller plugin for mp3 decoder. I have a mp3 decoder, but i dont know how to implement the controller plugin and how this mp3 decoder to be integrated with the plugin.

If you find any good documentation on this, Please do post it here.

I have one doubt too...suppose some how i code the controller plugin and integrate the mp3 decoder with it...but how would the CMdaAudioPlayerUtility will call this ..i mean CMdaAudioPlayerUtility ::OpenFileL() and CMdaAudioPlayerUtility ::PlayL()..how will these function call the plugin and which functions??? How would the code flow look like???

If you want some example ogplay is an excellent reference
sans the docs ofcourse.

Is videotypeL() deprecated. Sdk mentions about this function but i cant find this function in the class declarartion. How can i check the type of video then ??

Check VideoFormatMimeType().Wont this help in knowing what format is being supported and played.

I know there s a MMF codec plugin available for Ogg vorbis library, its available in Symbian website. But its for 2.0 SDK. Does anyone know whether its ported to 3.0 SDK?

Also I have one more Question:
Can the Apis exposed from the MMF codec plugin be directly used by an application without going through the controller framework. Say suppose I have my own framework, which loads the codec plugin, then can I not use the MMF codec plugin API s directly?

Thanks for the link. But its the sis file. Is there source file package. I think its there in CVS. But I am not able to get it as I am behind a proxy .
