Jsr 180 - J2me Sip Api

Hi Folks,

I have recently started looking into JSR 180 and its possible implementations in available phones.
I have a very basic doubt.

Looking at the JSR 180 design.. it seems JSR 180 implementation can only be done in close integration with CLDC 1.0 implementation b'cos it uses Generic Connection Framework.

Now i want to develop a standalone JSR 180 implementation which will be used in a MIDlet for an interactive game or messaging. How can i do that? I am trying same thing with Nokia's JSR 180 RI (sipa1_0_1.jar) and could not figure out how to use sipa1_0_1.jar and sip-examples.jar/jad as standalone midlet on WTK2.2.

Kindly give some hint.

It is not possible to extend dynamically J2ME core packages like javax.micoredition.*

Adding sipa1_0_1.jar (e.g. in classpath) would not help, since the J2ME does not allow adding packages in javax.microedition.* namespace. They have to be integrated to the platform by the original manufacturer.

i am also try to develope a project somthing like VoIP phone using JSR 180.
B'coz JSR 180 is used for multimedia P2P transfer of audio/video,but i can only sent text messages through this, Please help if anybody have any solution using JSR 180.
