Has anyone succeded in doing this?
If yes,
Are there any guides (working) to describe the process?
- I've already read the posts here
- Tried to follow the guides for N9210
- I've asked Nokia Developer support (see answer at the bottom if this text)
Best Regards,

Hi,
The 7650 Emulator already has NT RAS configured. You should be able to find a "RAS PPP" access point on the emulator. If you wish to modify this access point, you can do it with the Comms Db Editor. Go to your Windows Start menu and select Run... type "setupcomms" and click OK. The editor window should now open if the SDK environment has been set up. (setupcomms.bat can also be found in Symbian\6.1\Shared\EPOC32\Tools)
I have validated that the RRAS server works (using a Dial-Up connection over the COM port) and it logs in normally.
After removing the "Direct serial Null Modem" and removing the Dial-Up
connection, I've tried to connect through the emulator, with no luck...
I'm using the portmon utility (www.sysinternals.com) to spy on the port and while the Dial-Up connection starts with 3 CLIENT in a row, the emulator only sends 1 CLIENT and after that does nothing. (It times out after a while Comms error -33 Timed out)
