wat is the format for pictures in theme creator?

hi,can anybody tell me wat is the format for the picture that i can copy into my theme creator to edit?
i am just new to the theme creator today...
it made me mad..

They're bitmaps stored in MBM (Symbian's Multi BitMap) files.

In any case, you can use any Windows based bitmap editor you like with the Series 60 Theme Studio (e.g., Jasc Paint Shop Pro, or whatever).
