How does USSDC connects to external application

I have an application which takes the stock symbol as input and returns the quote value.

How can I use the USSDC to invoke this application to send and recieve stock quote information using USSD?

If you could give details of accessing cycle ( request from the phone and cycle of responses till the end of transaction), it would be of great help.
