Animated GIF

Hi !

I have written a ScreenCapture application in Symbian C++ . I intend to provide a functionality for composing an animated gif . Like say, whenever the user captures a screen it will be added as a frame to an animated gif file.
I havent come across any API's for creating an animated gif. Hence I would like to know whether it is possible to create an Animated gif on Symbian 7.0.
If yes, I would really appreciate it if you could point me towards some API that'll help me do it.

If I remember right, you can not save multi-image-gif files with any standard Symbian API, so you would need to port your custom solution to compose animations.

just find sources made in C or C++ that are constructing multi-image-gif files and modify it in a way that it will work in symbian platform.
