MHttpFilter On HTTP Requests generated by the Browser

Dear all,

As far I understood, a MHTTPFilter is linked to a specific RHttpSession.
And I would like to know if it feasible to have a filter addressing the HTTP
request made by the WAP browser or if there is a way to have a pointer on the WAP browser session on which I could apply my filter.

Hello!

I am also interested in applying my own filter on the S60 WAP browser session, to add an http header that signals the server if the client device is provisioned with a custom plugin.

Sorry, I read all the thread that you mention, but I still don't know how to proceed to solve my problem.

The objective is:

Be able to detect (as easy as possible) from a Java Servlet if a S60 device supports a custom content-type when the Nokia S60 Browser makes an HTTP request to this Java Servlet (From S60 V2 FP2 onwards, S60 Browser doesn't send custom content-types)

I was thinking that adding an HTTP header to Nokia S60 Browser might be an easy solution to acomplish this task.
