I need to do write a simple sms application for cellphones.
1. How does one write applications for cellphones?
2. When using a sdk, will this work on all cellphones?
3. Which sdk would you recommend?
Help on this would be greatly appreciated!!!

1. With C++ you can write applications to phone with Symbian platform.
2. Nokia 9210 and Nokia 9290 use Crystal DFRD and Nokia 7650 uses
Pearl DFRD. DFRDs are Device Family Reference Designs, variations of
Symbian OS tailored for different types of mobile information
devices. They have also different SDKs too so programs are not
compatible.
