Can't 6230i handle 8bitPNG-Transparency?

Hi,
does somebody know if the Nokia 6230i can or can not handle 8Bit PNGs (indexed) with transparency?

We made a game with a lot of pngs with transparency, on 6230 it works fine but on 6230i there is no transparency it is black :-(

Can someone help?

I have a 6230i, I don't know how to check the number of bits in my pngs (at least it's indexed, with very few colors ^^), but the transparency works fine with me.
I can just give you some hints about what I do :/ I think I got this problem on other phones... hope it will help...

I don't make a game, just using a Canvas (not the GameCanvas), no fullscreen, I don't combine images (for example, drawing one above another etc...). Also I always use the Graphics object given in the Canvas.paint method (I don't try to keep it in an attribute member, to use it later). If I draw my image on a buffer image, I just call this image getGraphics once and keep it somewhere (since the getGraphics may create a different Graphics object...).

We have the solutions...
it seem to be a bug in the Firmware of Nokia 6230i.
If you have a few icons in one png and you try to cut it like this:
icon = Image.createImage(icons, boxesWidth, 0, boxesWidth,
boxesHeight, Sprite.TRANS_NONE);

The icon will not be displayd correct, if we load the icons as few pngs it works fine.
