Certificate 3230/6260

I have a question about the 3230/6260 and other phones with the same problem.

I'm trying to test my midlet on these phones but I cant download them from my website. I know I need a certificate to be able to test my midlets on these phones.

I see Vertisign has been mentoned as a source for certificates. However, they dont sell out side North America and I live in Norway.

Any ideas anyone?

I have seen mentions of people using openSSL (http://www.openssl.org) to mint their own certificates. I have not gone down this route but there appears to be a document on how to do it at http://www.openssl.org/docs/HOWTO/certificates.txt

You don't need any special certificates for testing MIDlets on those phones.

What you do need is to configure your website to send the correct MIME types for the .jar and .jad files in order for the phone(s) to download and and install them properly.

I have configured my webservers MIME type for jar and jad

I can download the same midlet to every phone I have tried (incuding SE K500, SE 700, SE K750, Nokia 6101,Motorola E1000, Siemens M75, Nokia 6680) except these two.
