How can I read information about GSM operator like name or same id . . . . ets.

there is a sample source code available here that I wrote some time ago, which when modified a bit could also read the operator name. Anyway you could also find it from this link: http://www.cs.helsinki.fi/u/mraento/symbian/index.html

check the codes for CellID ans stuff, you should be able to get the operator name after modifying them a bit.

You can find the right info at http://www.cs.helsinki.fi/u/mraento/symbian/cellid.html

In this page you can see something called as ".iNetworkInfo.iShortName" which gives the GSM operator's name.
