IMEI or Secure Unique ID

Hello,
I am writing an application that requires that I either get the IMEI or the phone number of the phone. How do I get the IMEI or Phone Number of the series40 phone?

If this is not possible can I use the bluetooth address and do all Series40 model phones share the same bluetooth address?

The Bluetooth address is unique to every device (or should be; so should network card MAC addresses, but vendors still end up delivering devices with duplicates either by accident or on purpose).

I don't know if the IMEI address can be retrieved with Java on a Series 40 phone, but the phones do not store the actual phone numbers at all (some operators might put it on the SIM card, but usually they don't, as it is not needed/used for making calls or sending messages).

if it is for security issues, you should ask the user for a login/password, because the bt mac address can easily be faked and red from any phone
