ota downloading jar size limit in 6230i

I've seen on the 6230i nokia device details page that the jar size limit is 500kb, and I've managed to install a midlet of this size using BT/infra/USB. When trying to install via OTA I got an error of "file too large", and only of jar size less than 300kb, the midlet was able to install. Why is this ?

Via OTA, the limit seems to be 300Kb for my 6230i too... I've never tried using the BT or IR, but that's interesting

Im getting application error when downloaded from OTA. the jar size is 243 kb. Any thoughts ?????
