When SDK for Symbian 3rd edition will be available?

Could we develop serious symbian apps using current Symbian 3rd beta edition? We are really don't want to waste our time for bugs in beta SDK.

Nokia, please give us developers more information about the availability of production quality level SDK for 3rd edition, hopefully, the 3rd edition will not become an uninteresting/unfriendly platforms for developers. There are lot of potential platforms out there to choose: MS windows mobile 5 (even Palm & Siemens Mobile are now choose MS windows mobile 5 and they are leaving the Symbian spaces) or Blackberry's Java...

IMHO the beta SDK works fine. There are issues, but you can work around them.

IMHO Beta S60 3.0 SDK is not suitable for any serious development. It is full of various issues. Starting with increadible long load time (~ 2 min on my machine). Usually some built-in app crashes during startup progress. Some crashes are even acknowledged in the accompanying release notes. Gotta wait for the Release.

When I start the emulator I keep getting this message "First-chance exception at 0x7c81eb33 in epoc.exe: Microsoft C++ exception: XLeaveException @ 0x1aeddf3c." I am using NOkia S60 third edition, Carbide.vs 2.0.1 and .Net 2003 visual studio. Thanks in advance
