Does log engine remove entries automatically?

Hello developers,

My application uses the log engine on Series 60 to get the number of calls, who called how long etc. Then I do some calculation on the calls.

My problem is that the log engine seems to remove the calls from the log automatically after one or two weeks. Is this documented somewhere??

If this is true, it would mean that I have to copy the entries from the log engine into my own application's database... Any suggestions how to do this the best way?
