MMFControllerFramework.lib in 3rd edition

Hi All,

I am trying to port a video recorder sample from 2nd edition to 3rd edition .. which is given at Forum.Nokia. It gives me error "cannt find MMFControllerFramework.lib for WINSCW UDEB" .. I searched for a lib .. its not there ..

After searching on the forum I came to know that the lib was in the beta 3rd edition SDK .. but not present in this latest. So I copied it from Beta SDK folder for WINSCW UDEB but cannt find for GCCE UREL .. I can see one for ARM5 UREL ..

What should I do to get the "MMFControllerFramework.lib" for GCCE for 3rd edition?? Or any other Alternative ??

Download the mmf framework plugin for S60 3rd Edition in the extension plugin downloadable in the Tools and SDK's section of forum nokia

Hi Paul,

I downloaded it .. and installed it .. but the lib is not for GCCE .. its only for ARMV5 ..

I dont have ARMV5 compiler .. How can I get the lib for GCCE?

It should still work, the toolchain should work out to either use a lib or dso.

I was in S60 3rd edition. i got this error

" make[1]: *** No rule to make target `\Symbian\9.1\S60_3rd\EPOC32\RELEASE\WINSCW\
UDEB\MMFControllerFramework.lib', needed by `\Symbian\9.1\S60_3rd\EPOC32\RELEASE
\WINSCW\UDEB\Cellstory.exe'. Stop. "

How could i add this lib in my sdk. i used 9.1 sdk for s60 3rd edition. in this that lib was not included i think.

Based on the previous posts, it can happen that this API is not supported for the emulator. Have you downloaded the mentioned plugin?

I must be completely missing something here...
Looking for mmfcontrollerframework.lib, went to:
"Devices, Docs & Tools" ->
"Extensions Plug-ins" ->
"Extensions Plug-ins for S60 3rd Edition SDKs for Symbian OS",

and downloaded "3rd Edition Extensions"...

But there's no mmfcontrollerframework in there..?

I checked the other downloads too, just can't find that library file. Am I blind, or completely missing something?
