    Hi,

I've got around 3.5 gigs worth of Symbian SDK's on my laptop and I was wondering why these SDK's have to be so ridiculously large?

A careful inspection learns that most of the clutter is in the 'Epoc32\release\winscw\udeb\' folders. (Around 450 mb per folder).

Now I'm wondering. Doesn't 'winscw' mean that this is the folder meant for CodeWarrior builds? Or does Winscw mean something else (I can't find anything about this int he helpfiles).

so If yone would only use the commandline (or vc6) to build stuff one could argue that these folders can be thrown away.

    Has anyone tried this?

    Cheers,

    Reinier

That's the CodeWarrior compiled version of the Symbian emulator (and on my PC it totals about 126MB, not 450MB).
