Getting phone id on Symbian 9.x

I was using the CTelephony::GetPhoneId() to get the unique phone id. This is an asynchronous function call which was getting completed in the Beta Series60 v3 SDK. But this doesn't happen in the latest released SDK of V3. (i.e. in the active object that i have created where this function is getting called the RunL is never being called.) Can someone tell me how should I go about this or the Nokia guys verify this on the SDK.

do a search for GetCurrentNetworkInfo, i have posted a question there, whilst it doest not work for networkinfo on my emulator..it does work for phoneid. just change the parameters/api
