    Hi guys,

I want to write an sms application that will be sending sms to a particular number without the client being charged.
rather, the service provider(me) should be charged or not charged at all.

is this possible? cuz someone did it and was saying it had something to do with the message center settings.
now, i dont know anything abt this, can some good person help?

    tanx in advance.

Well, if you find a message center number that's operated by someone who wishes to pay for your SMS, then I guess it is possible.

On the other hand, I can't imagine which operator or service provider would do such a thing (network operators are generally quite good at billing for the use of their services/resources, and allowing free SMS doesn't sound like something that'd appeal to them; someone will pay for them, somehow).

    tanx petrib u're the man.
Well, what i want to do is quite funny but someone happened to have done it and is about winning the contract from me.
I dont really know how he did it,but when the client sends the sms from our application it doesn't deduct money from the client and neither does it from us.
    I just wonder!!!

    what do you think

Then there's some intermediary that pays for the SMS. Someone always pays.

You can change SMS message center (SMSC) number under Options > Settings in the Messaging app.

All you need to do now is to find a number where someone else pays for the sending.
