In my computer Ethernet is working ok with S60_2nd_ed_FP2 and S60_3rd_ed, but with S60_2nd_ed_FP3, warning

Topic: "Ethernet Plug-in for Series 60 SDK Service Client"

Text: "Ethernet adapter is not given by the application and no Ethernet adapter is yet started.

Can not proceed.

You can start an Ethernet adapter with the Ethernet Plug-in for Series 60 SDK Service Administrator program before you start your application."

If you are trying to connect emulator to the net, you could check the SDK document for instructions on the same. Normally when you try to browse, it asks if it should connect through winsoc and you can just say ok.
